Purpose: Make it easy for people to say yes, know how much to give, and receive the donation link only after they commit. The first text is designed for one outcome: a reply. No website or donation link in the first text.

1) INITIAL TEXT / DM - SEND THIS FIRST

Hi [Name]!

I am reaching out because I know you have a generous heart.

My friend Brady McDonald is running 50K in all 50 states over 50 consecutive days through the Zero to 100 Wishes project to help grant 100 wishes for children with critical illnesses through Make-A-Wish.

I am helping raise money for [State], and our goal is to raise $1,000 for every mile Brady runs here - 31 miles total (50K).

Every $10,000 helps grant one wish.

Would you be willing to sponsor one mile for $1,000, five miles for $5,000, or even a quarter mile for $250 to help us grant wishes?

Rules: Send the same first message to everyone. Do not over-explain. Ask a clear question. Follow up until they say yes or no. Set a deadline.

Remember: You are not bothering people. You are helping them do what they said they wanted to do after they said yes.
